SNOWY Kamchatka is a winter tour offering the magnificent panoramas of snow-white volcanoes, snowmobile rides on the vast deserts of snow, dog sled driving through white fields, relaxation in the thermal waters under the starry sky of the peninsula, skiing and snowboarding on Kamchatka hills. The season for this tour is from December to April. The tour programme is subject to change due to the weather conditions.
Tour Programme
Arrival day. Arrival to Paratunka, checking into the hotel. Relaxation in a pool with thermal water. Rest.
A tour of the sled dog farm. You can try driving a dog sled on a special course. You will plunge into the ethnic world of ancient people of the Kamchatka Territory. For lunch, we will have salmon soup cooked over a campfire. A photoshoot in traditional national clothes with sled dogs and reindeer. A visit to Zelenovsky Ozerki wellness complex comprising ten individual radon baths, a big pool with mineral water, and a pure lake. You can adjust the temperature in the bath to suit your taste.
A tour of a sea lion rookery. We will feed the animals that rest right in the city. A sightseeing tour of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. We will check out the most beautiful observation decks that offer views of the volcanoes and the Avacha Bay. Transfer to the Pacific coast. You will admire the black volcanic sand and the power of the raging ocean.
Transfer to 40-metre Vilyuchinsky waterfall by snowmobiles (in comfortable sleds). In winter, Vilyuchinsky waterfall freezes completely. This ravine is very popular with winter travellers. You will also see gorgeous Vilyuchinsky volcano whose foot is home to this waterfall.
Transfer to Avachinsky pass in comfortable sleds. Here, you can witness the majestic Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes You will relish the view of the snow-white valleys, the Avacha Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. You will climb a small mountain — Verblyud — that lets you admire the incredible beauty of volcanoes.
A visit to Mount Moroznaya Ski Complex where you can go skiing or snowboarding. Mount Moroznaya Ski Complex is situated seven kilometres away from the town of Yelizovo. The Russian ski team train right here, on this mountain. At the same time, it is a favourite of many amateur skiers. Such popularity of the ski complex is due to the excellent quality of the courses and a great variety of difficulty levels. This visit can be replaced with ice fishing on request.
A visit to the market where you can buy seafood and souvenirs as an option. Departure day.
